NaNoWriMo 2019 is approaching and it’s time to get stuck in! As you’ve guessed from the title, I am happy to announce that I will be participating!
Although I unfortunately wasn’t able to complete NaNo last year, I have learnt from my mistakes and have a story idea lined up for the event.
What Is NaNoWriMo 2019?
National Novel Writing Month (or NaNoWriMo for short) is a writing challenge that takes place every November and the challenge is simple = write 50,000 words in 30 days. I’ve been particitaping on and off since 2011, having won twice in 2014 and 2016. Fun fact: my debut novel The Ascension of Melanie Winters was a NaNo project I didn’t finish in 2015!
At the moment, my working title for my idea is Changing States. I’m still not 100% sure what it’s going to become yet, but I’m excited to get stuck in. Especially as I have a full outline meaning I’ve got a good chance of hitting the 50k mark.
