Have you ever wondered what kind of shenanigans happen when you record an audiobook by yourself? Well, worry no longer as you can now find out with a blooper reel from my most recent audiobook recording!
When I recorded Cross Stitching as an audiobook, there were a lot of things that happened which messed up the recordings. Highlights include:
- My brain malfunctioning during the reading of sentences
- My dogs (especially Woody) sabotaging my attempts to record
- Noisy cars and vans going past
- Beatboxing
- Too many flubbed lines to count
And many more!
I did this with the first recording I ever did, as I felt that the bloopers were too good not to share with everyone. So below, you can find a full 29 minute video complete with all my slip-ups and whoopsies when recording Cross Stitching.
My hair colour is also out of date in the thumbnail; I started editing the video in October 2023 when my hair was a dark orange, but currently my hair is rose gold. When I finished the actual video, my hair was pink, purple and blue – matching my outfit! It was difficult trying to update the hair colour for my chibi so I decided to stick with the dark orange hair for the time being.
