Audiobook bloopers now available for second novel

Have you ever wondered what kind of shenanigans happen when you record an audiobook by yourself? Well, worry no longer as you can now find out with a blooper reel from my most recent audiobook recording!

When I recorded The Evolution of Melanie Winters as an audiobook, there were a lot of things that happened which messed up the recordings. Highlights include:

  • Me burping and squeaking at random intervals
  • Randomly renaming characters for no reason
  • Queen Elizabeth II dying between audiobook recordings
  • Email notifications galore
  • Too many flubbed lines to count

And many more!

I did this with the first recording I ever did, as I felt that the bloopers were too good not to share with everyone. So below, you can find a full 22 minute video complete with all my slip-ups and whoopsies when recording The Evolution of Melanie Winters.

My hair colour is also out of date in the thumbnail; I originally rendered the video in July when my hair was bright orange, but I dyed it bright red in August and I couldn’t be bothered to change it. So let’s all pretend my hair is orange for now.

I’m thinking of doing more author centric videos on my YouTube channel; if it’s something you’d be interested in seeing, please let me know!
